I'm Claire Keifer, and this is my personal student art blog. I'll be uploading the projects I do, and also a paragraph or so saying a little bit about each piece.

Perspective Drawing
This was a living space in one point perspective of being under the sea with mermaids. I had a lot of fun with this drawing because I completely imagined everything, I found it to be really creative for me. For this drawing I just used regular drawing pencils. I smudged and shaded to give the contrast of light to dark to make the image look more realistic.
Portrait Front View
This is a portrait I did from the front view of her face. I did this in all drawing pencils. I would smudge parts, or even go over again and again to get a more realistic look. That way the lighting could make the image come to life more.

Skateboard Design

This is a drawing was done with pencils, colored markers, and sharpie. Done on plain paper, which I then cut to give the illusion of a skateboard. This was made to represent the human heart, and the feelings that go along with that. On the left there's bright red larger hearts. To display the love and happiness someone can feel. Contrary to that, on the right side there's small little blue fragments of hearts, but mostly just shapes. This was to represent how based on the love emotions on the left, people do get hurt. People can be left alone and sad, which was what the right was susposed to protray. Around the design I colored very dark black around it. This gave the image a more dark and interesting look.
Profile Portrait

This is a portrait that was done solely with professional drawing pencils.. This portrait was done on the profile view. By shading the cheek bones, and under the jaw line gives a much more enhanced contrast of light to dark. While doing this I wanted the attention to be purely on the face shape and features. That's the area where I put the most detail in, and left the arms a bit less dark so that they fade into the back round.
