This is a portrait that was done solely with professional drawing pencils.. This portrait was done on the profile view. By shading the cheek bones, and under the jaw line gives a much more enhanced contrast of light to dark. While doing this I wanted the attention to be purely on the face shape and features. That's the area where I put the most detail in, and left the arms a bit less dark so that they fade into the back round.
This looks so realistic! The level of detail is really good; it looks 3-d. The contrast and shading are both really good in this picture.
